Wedding Invitations
If you set your wedding date, time and place and decided who is going to host it, you can finally choose your wedding invitations too. There are so many beautiful wedding invitations online that it's really hard to decide which one to choose. And the prices can be quite different too.
I'm going to tell you more about wedding invitations on Zazzle.com because I design them there.
First let's take a look at the dimensions. There are eight dimensions available on Zazzle, but if you take a look at already made and most popular invitations, 5" by 7" and 5.25" by 5.25" are the most popular ones. The card below is 5 inches by 7 inches.
All these invitations can be square or rounded, but usually the rounded ones are a bit more expensive.
There there are different types of paper for the invitations like basic one, recycled, linen, metallic, columned... There are ten different types of paper but before you decide for one, check the prices too, because they are a bit higher too. That's why you'll find some invitations that cost two dollars (for one card) and other more than three dollars, but they look almost the same. The difference is probably the paper. Let's take a look at each one if them:
- Basic - smooth matte finish with 50% recycled content and weights 110lb
- Grooved - matte finish and weights 80lb
- Delicate - elegant with smooth texture, weights 80lb
- Recycled - 100% recycled content and weights 100lb
- Felt - embossed finish, weights 100 lb
- Linen - with linen texture, weights 90 lb
- Laid - luxury paper, weights 80 lb
- Columned - with 25% cotton, weights 110 lb
- Metallic - smooth finish, weights 110lb
- Environmental - is the the last one
And let's not forget about the postage stamps - you can get custom stamps and envelopes too.
Each invitation comes with standard white envelope, but you can get colored ones or customized too, with your names, wedding date or in any color or design you want.
And how about the prices?
Usually one invitation costs around 2 to 3,5 dollars, it depends on the paper or if it's rounded and so on. But if you get them more, you'll get a discount - check it out at the top right side of the page, where you can decide about the quantity. You can get 30 - 40 % discount if you get 100 or 200 invitations (for exact number please check at Zazzle.com, these numbers are just approximate). And that's almost a dollar for one invitation, and mostly they are printed on both sides, which depends on the design.
And one more thing I have to mention - most invitations are templates, which means you can easily replace the names, dates and other text with your own.
